Screams could be heard after a van crash which left a woman in her 20s dead, witnesses said. Two others were injured in the crash near the Strand in central London at 11.41am on Tuesday. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and the two other pedestrians were taken to hospital, one with potentially life-threatening injuries and the other with minor injuries.
